A total of 300,000 Rainbow trout will be released this winter. The Parks Service advises that it is best to go to the stocking spot as quickly as possible for the best luck in reeling in the fish. Cool weather and cold water is best for trout fishing as they do not survive well in warmer water.

You can check these links for stocking dates, and a list of state parks that will be stocked.
